I Miss...

One Friday night, after she drank a can of Rockstar and we bought toilet paper, hula hoops and other plastic-made toys, we set about toilet papering someone's house. 18 hours later we found out we got the wrong house.

Now she's gone for 18 months.

I miss her.

Hate.

I hate showering. Growing up we never had a shower so we always had to take baths. I hate baths too. I hate getting wet. I hate pruney fingers and getting dry. I hate drying my hair. But, I also hate dirty finger nails and toe fluff...

The Love of Chucks.

These are my feet. This is my seventh pair of chuck taylors. These ones are low tops, and I got them in 2005. This was what they looked like in 2007, they look the same now, and I still wear them.

I originally bought this pair from a company in sweden, and hoped that they would make it on time for my degree show opening. I can't remember if they did or not. I don't think they did, but in my head I like to think they did. Ahh low tops.

This leaf was on the ground in Salt Lake City in temple square. My best friend Toni and I decided to take pictures of the weaping heart shaped dew covered lead, rather than the temple.

It is the leaf of love afterall.

one time at a wedding

We used to know each other's deepest secrets; who she liked, how her family got along or didn't. We were the prom group. Now we can''t even really remember where she is living, who she loves, or any of that. Our paths crossed at a wedding five years later, but only for a second.

Good-bye Summer...

One of my favorite days this summer was when we went out on a walk and found ourselves in a place we didn't recognise even though we'd been there before it had changed a lot since last time. The quick little adventure was exactly what I needed...
