snow shoes

yesterday i had a plan. the plan was to go hiking. plan A was to go to jump creek, a location near home where you can hike to a waterfall. that plan failed. it was too hot. plan B was to drive to the mountains to hike where the weather would still be nice but not as hot. that plan also failed. the weather was nice and although i was wearing shorts, there were still piles and piles of snow.

I don't like snow.

But when I see a patch that has been untouched by human foot I can't help but want to be the first to crunch it, and make my mark in it.



Like my low budget movie shows. I love that crunching noise. It's just wonderful. Thanks Salt Lake City for snowing while I was walking to the swimming pool.
